In Q4 2022, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Kenya showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the leading apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Xender - Share Music Transfer exhibited notable growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 46.9K in late September and peaking at approximately 82.2K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, increasing from 372.6K to 465.5K over the quarter.

Status Saver - Video Status experienced a surge in weekly downloads, beginning at around 10K and reaching up to 46K by the last week of December. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, rising from 30.3K to 75.4K during the same period.

OK VPN - Secure & Fast Proxy saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 14.5K and peaking at 27.4K in late October before ending the quarter at 18.9K. Weekly active users increased steadily from 51.5K to 85.5K.

All Video Downloader & Player demonstrated significant growth in weekly downloads, from 491 in late September to approximately 44.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users also surged, rising from 752 to 94.7K over the quarter.
